The RovingBookworm Podcast: Season 2.5 – Spoken Word Poetry Series

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to Season 2.5 and Episode 25 of the RovingBookworm Podcast.

How are you all doing? I hope you are all doing well. Ordinarily, this should be my 8 week break period after a podcast season to hibernate, read, refresh and come back with more insightful themes but due to the feedback I got from some of you after my last break, I have decided to use this time to continue to connect with you all by sharing some of my spoken word poetry with you. I have called this a spoken word poetry series (Season 2.5).

This week, I’ll be sharing a poem I wrote a year after my mother passed on which was a reflection of my emotions and feelings at the time and I have decided to share it first because we lost my mother in-law last month and I am having the same feelings all over again.

I hope you enjoy listening and I would love to hear your feedback.

This poem is titled:

One Year
