This month the spotlight is on Tope Omotosho, bestselling Nigeran Christian Fiction writer and author. I discovered Tope many years ago and have enjoyed reading many of her stories over the years.

About the Author
Tope Omotosho is passionate about impacting the world through her thought-provoking stories. These stories don’t deny the relevance of God in our everyday lives. She is a devoted Christian passionate about bringing people to the knowledge of God’s true and unfailing love.
She majors in Christian contemporary fiction but also has non-fiction titles and a title with her husband, who’s a pastor and has to write due to Tope’s positive peer pressure.
When she isn’t writing, she can be found spending time with her husband and three children, reading a book or watching a movie with something sweet in hand.
Why I Love This Author
I stumbled unto Tope’s work at a time I was really looking out for not just Christian fiction but relatable Christian fiction with characters that I fully understand and can be in their shoes. It was a breath of fresh air, and I dived into her world of Nigerian Christian stories that teach, sanctify, mold, and equip you as you grow in faith.
The first book which is still one of my favorites by her is titled ‘Once Upon a First Love’ and I would always recommend this book to Christian fiction lovers. Another thing I love about Tope’s writing is the fact that it can be read by both young adults and adults as the lessons in the stories are relevant to people of all ages even teenagers.
Some of my other favorites by her include ‘Dance with Me’, ‘Crumbled’, and ‘The Marriage Series’ (which consist of three books).
What I love about this author is her courage to start a journey into writing Christian fiction when not many people where writing in this genre and how God has used it to bless many people along the way. It stands as a testimony of how obedience to God’s calling can be used to transform lives and add value to those around you.
