This month the spotlight is on Joan Embola, a Cameroonian Nigerian Christian writer and author. I discovered Joan when I was actively searching for new Christian fiction authors to discover and she came highly recommended, so I bought her book “The One Who Knows Me” and I was hooked. Since then, I have enjoyed reading her second book and currently reading the third book in this series. I have reviewed two books by her on my blog so please go check it out.

About the Author
Joan Embola is a UK-based Cameroonian-Nigerian Christian author who aims to share God’s love one word at a time. She writes books about diverse characters whose hope-filled stories point to the sovereign love and goodness of God in our broken world. She is a qualified Physician Associate and also the founder of Love Qualified, a ministry dedicated to encouraging others to experience the sovereign love of the one true God who has qualified us to be His beloved ones. She is a passionate lover and teacher of God’s word, and she shares this passion on her YouTube channel, blog, and podcast. When she’s not writing or curled up with a book, you’ll find her watching movies, YouTube videos, or making memories with her family and friends.

What I love about this author is her story telling ability is both simple and engaging. I love the fact that her stories teach young Christian men and women what God expects from Godly relationships without sounding preaching. They are also relatable and heartfelt. I find her stories very relevant in today’s world of social media and excessive exposure where she points Christians both young and old in the direction, they should walk which is towards Christ. I strongly believe she is an author that has a lot of stories to tell, and I look forward to reading more books by her in the future.
