Run Your Race

Will we wait until the ground breaks

and we are buried six feet deep

before we admit we sat too long on an active margin?

Or will we run with all our might

until we stand on solid ground

across the finish line?

This is how we build.

This is how we birth nations.

With Resilience and grit.

There are no free tickets here.

The world is a stage

and you the main character.

With God as your script writer.

Jesus Christ your producer.

The Holy Spirit your director.

Give it all you’ve got.
Speak every line with purpose.
Live like your breath was borrowed,
because it was.
Let your scars testify,
Let your brokenness glow.
Don’t dim the light that was lit in you
before the foundation of the world.

Run your race like eternity depends on it,
because it does.

You are not here by accident.
You are legacy in motion,
a prophecy walking.
The prayer that is being answered.
And heaven is still cheering.

So write the vision.
Make it plain.
Walk by faith, even when the lights dim on set.
Because your story’s not over,
It’s just reaching its climax.

Don’t freeze.

Don’t fumble.
The Author has already

seen the ending
and called it “Good.”

So rise.
Speak.
Build.
Birth.
And when the curtain falls,
may it be said of you,
well done you good and faithful servant

Receive the crown of life

which has been reserved

for you since the beginning of time.

Amen.
