From My Heart to Yours: January 2026 Monthly Newsletter

Hello dear friend,

Happy New Year and welcome to my first newsletter of the year. I’m so grateful you’re here, still reading, still walking this journey with me, still choosing to be part of this community. Thank you for subscribing, for your encouragement, and for showing up in ways both seen and unseen.

As we step into a brand-new year, this feels like the perfect moment to pause and look back with gratitude, look ahead with intention, and invite God into everything that’s to come.

This past year has been one of growth, stretching, obedience, and quiet becoming. Some moments were joyful and affirming, others were challenging and refining but all of them were formative.

Here are a few highlights from the year as a whole.

The 6Eleven Life Podcast: A Year of Conversations That Mattered

This year marked a significant season of new beginnings. I launched “The 6Eleven Life podcast” and successfully concluded two seasons with 24 episodes. Week after week, we explored faith in real life, not polished, not perfect, but honest.

Together, we talked about:

  • Changing Seasons
  • The Bible Study Chronicles (10 episodes)
  • Knowing God’s plan for your life
  • How to build a close friendship with God
  • Growing your faith towards maturity
  • 10 ways to get rooted in the word of God
  • 5 ways to improve your prayer life
  • Prioritizing God in the midst of our busy lives
  • Establishing and maintaining your core Christian values
  • Creating space for Godliness and sanctification
  • Releasing the pressure to perform in a highly performative world
  • Building Christ-centered friendships and relationships
  • Discovering God’s plan and purpose
  • Navigating seasons of hardship
  • Finding balance through Godly principles
  • Discovering God’s plan for your life

What stood out most wasn’t just the episodes themselves, but the fact that week after week you encouraged me by coming back to listen again. It has also helped me grow closer to God in several ways and I can’t wait to see what God has in stock for us through this podcast in the future years to come. Thank you for listening, for sharing, and for letting these conversations meet you where you are.

Word Play Wednesday: A Creative Rhythm

This year, I brought back “Word Play Wednesday” after a long break and it has become a steady creative rhythm. A sacred pause in the middle of the week to share poetry rooted in faith, emotion, and lived experience.

Some poems were whispered prayers.
Some were confessions.
Some were declarations of hope.

Every piece was written honestly, and I’m deeply grateful for how they were received. This space continues to be one of my most cherished offerings.

The Blog: Two Spaces, One Heart

This year with the inception of “The 6Eleven Life”, the blog has evolved and continues to grow across two expressions:

6ElevenArmour — a home for Bible-centered reflections, encouragement, and faith-filled reminders for everyday life.

RovingBookworm — a space for book reviews, reading reflections, and conversations around stories that shape us.

Writing for both spaces this year reminded me how powerful words can be, whether they point us back to Scripture or invite us into story.

Spoken Word, Storytelling & Social Media

This year also saw me share more of my creative voice expressed through spoken word poetry on Instagram. Sharing stories through poetry with stories of faith, waiting, struggle, and hope has been deeply meaningful.

Alongside this, @the6elevenlife continued to be a place of encouragement, scripture, and gentle reminders to stay rooted in God.

A Year of Reading & Reflection

Books remained a faithful companion this year especially Christian and historical fiction. Reading slowed me down, stretched my imagination, and often met me spiritually in unexpected ways. Many of these reads sparked reviews, conversations, and quiet reflection.

As I step into this new year, I’m doing so with less pressure and more purpose. This year is not about rushing or proving anything. It’s about obedience, depth, and alignment.

Here’s what’s ahead.

The 6Eleven Life Podcast: A New Season or Two

While I plan to take a well-deserved break in the first three months of this year beginning this month, the podcast will resume with a new season in April. Expect honest conversations, scripture-rooted reflections, and space for growth.

However, seasons 1 and 2 of the podcast are still available for you to listen until season 3 premiers in April especially if you are yet to listen to some episodes. This would be a good time to catch-up on missed episodes or to go back and listen to your favorite episodes again. If you have enjoyed the journey with me on the podcast, also share it with your family and friends as we have room for more people to join us on this adventure.

Word Play Wednesday Continues

Poetry will remain a weekly rhythm, exploring themes of identity, surrender, purpose, rest, and trust. More storytelling. More stillness. More truth.

More Blog Content Across Both Platforms

I’ll continue publishing:

  • Bible-centered reflections on 6ElevenArmour
  • Book reviews, reading lists, author spotlight and literary reflections on RovingBookworm

The goal is depth over volume.

More Spoken Word & Creative Projects

I’ll be sharing more spoken word poetry on Instagram and exploring new ways to tell stories through faith and creativity.

Personal Growth & Preparation

Behind the scenes, this year includes:

  • Deepening my personal Bible study and prayer life
  • Developing prayer and Bible study journals
  • Laying foundations for future writing projects
  • Creating more intentional space for rest and listening

Some plans are clear. Others are still forming. I’m learning to be okay with that.

As we step into this new year together, my prayer for you is simple:

That you move gently.
That you listen closely.
That you trust God deeply even when the path ahead feels unclear.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for reading, listening, and supporting my work. This community means more to me than words can express.

If you ever want to share thoughts, podcast ideas, prayer requests, or simply say hello, please hit reply. I’d love to hear from you.

Here’s to a year rooted in faith, creativity, obedience, and grace.

With love,
Biyai
