The Ultimate Tour Guide
It’s amazing how we all agree
God created the universe
and everything in it
You and I,
He knew us before we were knit together in our mothers wombs
Yet somehow,
We believe we can journey through life on our own
by our wisdom
It’s like visiting a new city without a tour guide
driving to an unknown destination without a gps
Hoping we would arrive there by chance and on time.
But I tell you,
We have been sold a lie and
this keeps us all moving
round and round
like hamsters on wheels
Self this and self that
blinded by pride and fear
when all we need to do is
call on the ultimate tour guide
for He knows the length and breath and height of everywhere we need to go and do in this life and in the life to come
So, quit the rat race,
this DIY through life
reach out to the only one who would hold your hand and take you
Whose plans for you are only good and above what you can ever think or imagine
Allow Him to navigate the how’s and why’s
The ifs and maybes
And watch how grace unfolds
Do not expect fireworks
For this Spirit works in quiet spaces for He is really the alpha and omega
So why not begin and end only with Him and you safe in the hollow of his hand.
