This week I will be sharing a poem I recently wrote. This poem speaks to how most men think sex /penises solve every problem they have with their significant other without caring to know what women actually want. I really like this poem because it made me laugh and I hope you like it too.
It Is Not A Balm!
When she says she is lonely
And she needs to talk
Don’t give her a banana
It is not a balm!
When you forget her birthday
And she’s mad at you for this
Don’t give her a lollipop
It is not a balm!
When you betray her trust
And she thinks of calling it quits
Don’t offer her your gold finger
It is not a balm!
When you say you are sorry
And she says it’s okay
Don’t dance with your disco stick
It’s not a balm!
It is not a balm!
That one eyed snake dangling between two tree trunks
does not soothe aches
Or heal wounds
Although I must confess
Sometimes it may help a little
But if she says cuddle
Then cuddle her
And if she says talk
Then talk to her
Don’t pull out your firehose
When there are no flames to quench
It is not a balm!
